My mother-in-law has an above-ground pool and we’re wondering how to put the alkaline powder in it. She got a bag of the powder from somewhere (just a ziplock bag) so there are no instructions on it. Do we just add it straight to the filter, or dissolve it in a small amount of pool water first, or what? Thanks!

I know you can buy pH paper for testng urine but I wonder if ther is any other way I can tell when my body becomes more alkaline.
Are there noticable efects, or signs when that happens? How does it make you feel? :) Thanks!

Apart from the fact that the pH of acidic soils is 7 (and neutral is obviously 7!!)

What do you think is the main difference between the 2 if u consider certain elements of the soil like phosphorus content, etc etc WHICH MIGHT AFFECT THE ABUNDANCE OF CERTAIN PLANTS ??

Okay, I know that water can get too acidy or too alkaliney, but like what causes it to have too much alkaline or too much acid in an aquarium? I’m pretty sure bad water quality can, but specifically what can cause it to be too acidy or have to much alkaline? And is it better for it too be more acidy or more alkaliney?
Yeah, but what causes metal to be in the water? Overfeeding, dirty water, etc.??
